Angelica has been dancing since she was five years old and has extensive training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, dance team, and musical theatre. She received most of her education at Wichita State University while pursuing a BFA focusing in Dance Performance. During this time, she danced with the Wichita Contemporary Dance Theatre and toured with the company in Italy and also toured in Chicago and Washington DC for the National College Dance Festival. She is a National Dance Alliance All-American medal winner for her work on the Wichita State Dance Team and also received 8th place with her team at the NDA Nationals in 2013. She served as the President of Mid America Dance Theatre during which she oversaw and helped create dance concerts throughout the community. She has worked with esteemed choreographers such as Darrell Grand Moultrie, Charlotte Boye Christensen, Rachel Boyajian, and Janice Garrett. She has taught in multiple studios in Wichita as well as San Antonio where she taught contemporary, dance team, and choreographed for the competition teams. Her contemporary dance works won multiple awards at competitions and has had her choreography featured in church performances, festivals, and exhibitions. She recently got married, moved to California, and is extremely excited to start teaching and sharing her passion to eager students on the West Coast!
